Routes into The Building

The below is information if bringing extra large materials into the building for your meeting or conference.

Access to the Main Hall (and Balconies), G1, G3, and G4 requires all materials to come through one of the the following routes:

Main Front Entrance and Concourse Doors

Central St Entrance (no ramp) and Central St Ground Floor Door

Access to the Upper Hall, F11, F12 and F13 requires all materials to come through the one of the following routes:

Main Front Entrance and First Floor Staircase Door

Main Front Entrance and Lift

Central St Entrance (no ramp) and Central St First Floor Entrance

Access to the F14, F15, F16 and F17 requires all materials to come through the one of the following routes:

Small Corridor First Entrance

Toilet Facilities -Located on the ground and first floor.

Ground Floor: Located next to G1

Accessible: Single cubicle, with baby changing facilities

Ladies’: Five cubicles

Men’s: Four urinals and one cubicle

First Floor:

Ladies and disabled: Located next to the lift

Mens: Located up the steps in the back corridor

Disabled: Single cubicle

Ladies’: Four cubicles

Men’s: Three urinals and one cubicle

Main Hall Stage

Main Stage – Permanent

The Main Stage has the data projector back screen and data projector, so if using these two pieces of equipment the Main Stage will be out of bounds as there is little to no room for any other items on there.

If no equipment is needed then the stage dimensions are: 4.60m x 2.48m and height 0.87m

Lower Stage

The lower stage is attached to the main stage and can be rolled out to use or rolled back under the main stage. It’s suitable if having panel discussions and such activities. If someone is presenting something on the screen while standing on the lower stage, they may slightly obstruct viewers from seeing the whole screen with their shadow.
