How To Get Here By Transport
Friends’ Meeting House is centrally located only a couple of minutes walk away from Manchester Town Hall and Manchester Central, and directly opposite the Central Library. Take a look at our delegate welcome pack for further information and directions.
We are close to dedicated cycle paths into the city centre, including new provision on Deansgate.
We have six Sheffield cycle stands at the side of the building. These are in a sheltered spot but are not covered. Another five similar stands are available on the pavement opposite Friends Meeting House.
Fully folded cycles can be brought into the Meeting House but must be kept in the room in which your event is taking place.
Our nearest stop is St. Peter’s Square, which is a 30 second walk away from our front door.
- Once off the tram at St Peter’s tram stop look for the Central Library building and head towards it
- When facing the library there is a entrance area to the right of the building. Go through the door and head towards the alley at the other side
- You will find our Meeting House at the end of the alley across the road
We are within walking distance of all the city centre rail stations, approx times on foot:
Manchester Piccadilly – 20 min
Manchester Victoria – 15 min
Manchester Oxford Rd – 10 min
Salford Central – 15min
Deansgate – 10 min
