Quaker Trading (Manchester & Warrington) Limited is wholly owned by Manchester and Warrington Area Quaker Meeting and is registered in England. Our registered address is 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS. Our company number is 03094920.
We act as data controller when we collect personal information (sometimes called personal data) from our customers, prospective customers, staff and suppliers.
We collect and use your personal information for the legitimate interests of our business, in order to perform a contract, and/or because we have a legal obligation to keep certain records. We will ask you for your consent for data processing where appropriate.
If you are a Customer then we need to keep your name and your contact details. We will contact you about the services you have asked us to provide and we will ask for your feedback shortly afterwards. We will keep that information for 2 years from the last date on which we had contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. When you pay us, we will keep your financial information for 7 years to ensure our records are accurate and complete. If you pay by cheque we do not record your bank details. If you pay electronically we do not receive your full bank details (only a reference). If you pay by credit card then we keep your receipt, which shows some details of your card.
If you are a Supplier then we need to keep your name and your contact details. If you are VAT registered then we keep a record of your VAT number. We will contact you about the goods and/or services you provide to us. If you give us your bank details to pay you electronically then we will keep these on file. We will keep your name, contact details and VAT number for 7 years after the last date on which we paid you. If you would like us to destroy our record of your bank details then we can do this once you have confirmed that you have received our payment, but we will retain a record with our bank.
In addition to communication which relates directly to the contract we have with you, we would like to contact you from time to time with details of our services, including any new services or offers.
We will not pass your details on.
